Chatbot Components

An understanding of the components of the chatbot is required before you deep dive into the API.

Launcher

As indicated in the diagram this component contains the avatar of the chatbot. This is the first component to appear on the site after the snippet code is loaded.

Launcher Text

This is the greeting message that is displayed next to the Launcher.

Widget

This refers to the popup modal that appears when the launcher is clicked and contains the conversation that you have scripted. Please note that in the embedded form, only this modal appears and if you wish to use these methods for the chatbot in embed form, follow the steps here.
